How to speedup the internet?

Most of people are not aware of these fact Windows 7 reserves 20% of the available bandwidth for updates and for accessing Microsoft server. You can use this reserved bandwidth by unshackling it in few easy steps. In this article I will let you know about the procedure for making free the reserved bandwidth.
  • Click on the Start button and in the StartSearch box type “Run” (without quotes). Then select the “Run” option appearing in the Start menu. 
  • A new dialog box will appear on your monitor screen and in the text box type “gpedit.msc” or “gpedit” to open Local Group Policy Editor. 
  • Then in the Local Group Policy Editor window on the left pane click on Administrative templates categorized under Computer setup Configuration. 
  • Now select Network to expand it, and then click on Qos Packet scheduler option appearing on the right pane under Network. 
  • Then you make a double click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth option appearing on the right pane of the Local Group Policy Editor window. 
  • By default Limit Reservable bandwidth is not configured and Windows 7 reserves 20% of the total bandwidth for its use. For can make free this bandwidth and utilize it for own use. 
  • For using reserved bandwidth you have to click on “Enable” checkbox and put 0(zero) in bandwidth limit. Now click Apply and Ok to finish the procedure.
